ARTISOFT NOW SHIPPING FRENCH, GERMAN & SPANISH
VERSIONS OF LANTASTIC(R) v4.1 LOCAL AREA NETWORK
SOFTWARE & HARDWARE
(TUCSON, AZ -- June 30, 1992) -- Artisoft announced today that it
has started shipping French, German and Spanish versions of its
award-winning LANtastic Local Area Network, including LANtastic
Starter Kits, software, adapters and upgrades.
"By providing these localized versions, we are fulfilling a very great
need for our international dealers and endusers," said Dave Hallmen,

the power of the LANtastic Local Area Network more accessible than
ever to PC users all over the world."
The products which will be available in localized versions
include certain LANtastic Starter Kits, ArtisoftTM network adapters,
LANtastic Software Kits, the LANtastic/AITM network software
which runs on selected adapters from other manufacturers, and
upgrades to LANtastic v4.1 for users with LANtastic v4.0. The Starter
Kits include two adapters, the 300-user version of the LANtastic NOS,
cable, terminators, and both hardware and software documentation.
The adapters come with hardware documentation. The Software Kits
include the 300-user version of the LANtastic Network Operating
System as well as cable, terminators and software documentation. The
LANtastic/AI network software is licensed in either single-node or
unlimited (up to 300 users) versions.
For the French market, Artisoft has begun shipping localized
versions of the the LANtastic AE-2TM and A2MbpsTM Starter Kits,
the Artisoft AE-2 and A2Mbps adapters, LANtastic Ethernet and
A2Mbps Software Kits, and the single node version of the
LANtastic/AI network. Later this summer, Artisoft plans to start
shipping the LANtastic AE-3TM Starter Kit, the Artisoft AE-3
adapter, the unlimited version of the LANtastic/AI network, and
upgrades.
For the Spanish market, Artisoft has begun shipping localized
versions of the the LANtastic AE-2 Starter Kit, the Artisoft AE-2
adapter and the LANtastic Ethernet and A2Mbps Software Kits. Later
this summer, Artisoft plans to start shipping the LANtastic AE-3 and
A2Mbps Starter Kits, the Artisoft AE-3 and A2Mbps adapters, the
single-node and unlimited versions of the LANtastic/AI network, and
upgrades.
For the German market, Artisoft has begun shipping
localized versions of the the LANtastic AE-2 Starter Kit and the
Artisoft AE-2 adapter, the LANtastic Ethernet and A2Mbps Software
Kits and the single node version of the LANtastic/AI network. Later
this summer, Artisoft plans to start shipping the LANtastic AE-3 and
A2Mbps Starter Kits, the Artisoft AE-3 and A2Mbps adapters, the
unlimited version of the LANtastic/AI network, and upgrades.
